After our long and busy journey through northern and southern Africa, we thought a nice relaxing, isolated island would be nice. Especially an exotic one stuck in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Lucky for us, Mauritius is right between Africa and Southeast Asia. We landed in Mauritius in mid-November, direct from Cape Town. For the most part, we just chilled out on the beaches and relaxed during our twelve days here. We stayed entirely on the west coast, most of the time in and around Grand Baie and Pereybere. A nice break from the busy road. | ||
